Schedule & Entertainment

Friday, May 18th – We’ll kick off biathlon weekend with an early packet pickup accompanied by music on the nearby stage.

Saturday, May 19th – On Saturday morning, we’ll have a biathlon breakfast and packet pickup followed by a full day of running. All day Saturday we’ll have the biathlon pavilion filled with vendor booths, live music, games, demonstrations, and multiple food vendors. Saturday night will be capped off with a live band on the main stage.

Sunday, May 20th – we’ll host another biathlon breakfast, packet pickup, and a morning of biathlon running. The weekend will end with a lunch under the big tent followed by an awards ceremony.

Overnight Tent & RV Camping

Bring your RV camper or tent and plan to stay on-site. This will be “dry-camping” style camping with access to porta showers and porta potties. In 2018 we aim to position campsites within close walking distance to the main event area. To register for a spot in our campsite, please email: phammond@vwk9.com or click the Camping link below.

Food & Vendors

Each Biathlon runner will receive 2 x meal tickets in their race packets to be redeemed at one of our on-site food vendors. We aim to have multiple food vendors in 2018. In addition to the lunch ticket from years past, we will also offer biathlon breakfast tickets for Saturday, May 19th and Sunday, May 20th. Extra tickets for each meal are available for purchase during race registration and on-site.

If you have not heard, this Biathlon is about your canine and you bonding, we love our canine friends more than humans. If this is your first Biathlon, be prepare to be challenged, meet great canine people and have a lot of fun. Welcome to the Biathlon Family.

Hiking Trails

Want an additional challenge? We’re opening up a few hiking trails nearby for our biathloners to warm up their legs before or after taking on our course. We’ll provide trail maps so that our biathloners can explore these trails at their leisure with their canines.

We’ve secured full event photography to enable us to capture in the moment photography throughout our course and in the pavilion area. We know these photos are very important to you and we want to make sure we capture your moments with your canines and team partners.

Biathlon Bag Check

We’ve heard your wishes for a bag check, and will implement a bag check this year. Stay tuned for more details on this later on.
